Reviews of Algebra and Trigonometry are held at the start of each semester to help you brush up on the essentials of these topics. | |
| | The reviews are presented with the idea that you have seen the material before. The presentation emphasizes Algebra and Trig as important tools to have in your Mathematical toolbox. Simpler concepts are presented in the context of the role they play to enable confident use of more complicated concepts. Emphasizing the "tools" idea, each review also covers at least one topic which students often find challenging as an example of "How Mathematics is Invented" (or is it discovered?!). The reviews also include some suggestions about strategies for success in Math classes and classes which use Mathematics as an important tool.
