Hi, all! I hope you’re doing as well as you can in these weird times!
Line: 6 to 7 | ||||||||
I’m Henrique, from Cornell’s Math Support Center, and I have news to share! (good news, I promise!)
This is super long. TL; DR?

The what? | ||||||||
Changed: | ||||||||
< < | The Math Support Center is a free, drop-in tutoring service whose focus is primarily 1000-2000 level math courses. However, we try to help students with whatever we can, since our student tutors come from several majors and, of course, several of them are math majors taking really high-level math (if you’re taking any math course, including 4000+, chances are at least one of our tutors has taken it and can help you). So drop by, and say hi; I promise you we’re really friendly! ^v^)/

< < | We’re using Zoom as platform (which, I’m sure, is a shock to you), alongside the website MSC2.ref2.net . This website contains the link for the Zoom meeting, a few other cool links, and a feedback form! (because feedback is always useful! :D)

(Just for the sake of Post-COVID info, we’re usually located on Mallott Hall 256, and on Tatkon Center a couple times a week!)
Line: 20 to 25 | ||||||||
The weekly MSC hours are, for now, kept as usual: Monday-Friday, 10am-4:30pm and Tuesday-Wednesday, 7:30pm-9:30pm (both in Ithaca time). The only reason we haven’t changed this schedule, so far, is because it seems to work for students. In this sense, if you have any extenuating circumstances (or know someone who does and would like to get help from us), PLEASE reach out to us. We’d be very happy to make as many accommodations we can!
Who should I contact if I need accommodations, or if the schedule doesn’t work for me?
Changed: | ||||||||
< < | If that’s the case, please email one of (or both) the Head Tutors: Henrique (hcz5 ; that’s me! :D) and Sonya (sab444 ; that’s not me, but she’s really kind!). You can also email Dick (ref2 ; my “boss”)!

That sounds great! I’ll definitely check out the MSC at MSC2.ref2.net , and let you know if I need any special accommodations. And I’ll definitely give you feedback, because I know that’s very useful for you! Thanks, Henrique!
